Hemp Support Needed
Our motto: Sustainability starts locally… and with you! Our company fully supports an increasingly sustainable, renewable local, de-centralized economy and feels that through the numerous applications of the industrial hemp plant we may achieve this goal of economic revitalization. Please support local hemp legislation and a return to America’s roots – industrial hemp farming practices. It’s good for the environment (sequesters carbon, provides nutrients back to our depleted soils) and good for the economy by creating farming and ancillary production jobs. Cannabidiol, or CBD is a constituent of the hemp plant that has shown significant health and wellness benefits – CBD promotes and supports the dietary and nutritional health of aging bodies (US Government patent # 6,630,507).
In looking forward, in order to produce enough cannabinoids and especially the beneficial Cannabidoil (CBD) – we should mention that this requires a resurgence of the large-scale cultivation of industrial hemp http://photos.denverpost.com/2013/04/20/video-what-is-hemp-rope-soap-colorados-ag-future/.
This versatile, ecologically sustainable plant with over 50,000 known uses for industrial application includes everything from hemp clothes, hemp based cosmetics and foods, to bio-plastics, hemp construction materials and hemp-based bio-fuels. See: http://www.jackherer.com/thebook/.
Practically speaking, CBD, or what Robert Louis Stevenson called the “golden oil” is but a by-product of the non-psychoactive hemp plant. Most hemp is grown for industrial uses other than for obtaining CBD– for now… If the hemp plant has not already done enough for us by providing health and wellness benefits from CBD and other cannabinoids, it may also help us rid our society of the persistent problems of carbon-based pollution. Hemp sequesters carbon and our company has a carbon-negative profile! More on Robert Lewis Stevenson: http://www.robert-louis-stevenson.org/
Hemp may give rise to a healthier, sustainable, renewable based organic life-support system for our planet, which our children and grand-children may enjoy!
Hemp Seed Oil and Skin Care
US Hemp Oil’s Chris Boucher has been a long time hemp advocate and has a few tips for our readers who may have “problem” skin. Chris would suggest a two part program where one applies the hemp oil directly to the skin, particularly on those “problem” areas. The ingredients in hemp seed oil help to soothe problem areas while promoting the appearance of soft, radiant looking skin. The second part of the program involves taking two teaspoons of natural, organic hemp oil per day as a nutritional supplement. Hemp seed oil has a number of beneficial ingredients, including essential fatty acids and essential amino acids. These essential elements cannot be synthesized by the body – they must come from your diet. Try Chris’ program for 4 – 6 weeks and see if your skin looks better!
